(blocks-gallery-item) Gallery thumbnail images get links from 512×512 px full-size
I can’t understand why. It has to show thumbnail version of the images when I click them It will open them with full size am I right?
How can I fix it? I tried different lightbox plugins but I’m paying for jetpack and I want to use it instead of 3th party plugin.
It’s affecting the GTmetric score.

Hi,
I just activated the sitemap in Jetpack, because you have a really good image sitemap 🙂
But I was wondering why only posts and images are included in the sitemap? Is there any reason, why Categories & Tags are not listed in the sitemap?
Is there a way to include them? I found your post “How to add more Post Types to the sitemap” – but I´m not sure if this is also valid for Tags and Categories?
Can I add something like this to my functions.php?

I have about 20 wp plugins working with this site happily but the moment I turn jetpack on (so I can take advantage of the facebook twitter send publize thingy) The ability to capture sites and post them from the frontend is rendered no go.
Question 1. Does there happen to be a similar fb twit function in a plugin like the jetpack, or the jetpack one with out all the other stuff? I like it because you dont need to jump through all the crazy hoops the social media sites use to try and stop 3rd partys form interacting.

Hi,
After installed and activated JetPack plugin , I click on Setup Jetpack,it takes a minute and nothing happens…..no error message shown
then I go to jetpack debug page to recheck, it throws an error:
Unknown error
An unknown error has occurred.
It doesn’t make sense…
please help me with this, what should i do now ?

I’ve successfully setup Jetpack on the main self-hosted domain https://valerielittlewood.uk but using the same credentials it fails to proceed (after initial installation) when attempting to setup Jetpack on the sub-domain https://pencilandleaf.valerielittlewood.uk.
There are no errors message on screen. It simply reverts after a few seconds to the setup screen again:
“Activate essential WordPress security and performance tools by setting up Jetpack
By clicking the Set up Jetpack button, you agree to our Terms of Service and to share details with WordPress.com.
Set up Jetpack”
Any ideas on what I’m failing to do?

I recently built a new version of my website with a staging url. When it was done, I moved the site to my primary domain and moved the old site to a different directory (../old).
Now they show up as two separate sites in my Jetpack account. I’d like to move the stats, followers, etc from my old site to the new one. How can I do this?
I’ve tried deactivating the Jetpack plugin for the old version, reconnecting Jetpack for the new one, etc but I still have two accounts for the same site. Is there a way I can move the stats and subscribers from my old site to the new one?
I have sent a support ticket but didn’t get a reply.

Hi folks,
any ideas on how to lower how much CPU JetPack is eating up?
Our server normally runs on 2 Cores / 2GB RAM. The site itself has between 50k-570k hits per month (if an article gets unusually high traffic we get a temporary boost to 4 cores / 4GB RAM), and until recently everything has run pretty smoothly.
Over the last month, 250 visitors sends the CPU in meltdown (98-100% usage), until I turn off JetPack and then it goes back down to around 9-14% usage.
Any ideas on why this could be happening as it’s driving me nuts.

I’ve setup jetpack on hundreds of sites and never experienced an issue like this. On this one site I am not able to setup jetpack. I can install and activate the plugin just fine but when I click the Setup Jetpack button it reloads the page and nothing happens. I’m right back at on the page with the Setup Jetpack button. I’ve tried changing themes to the default as well as disabling all other plugins but it makes no difference. I’m not getting any sort of error message. I click the Setup Jetpack button the page reloads and remains unchanged. Clicking the button any number of times does nothing. I’ve tried removing it and reinstalling it several times as well.
Not sure what to do here.

Hello. I have the ‘Related Posts’ feature enabled on my site (screenshot). This feature used to work without issue, i.e. the related posts would display at the bottom of each blog post. But I’ve now migrated to a different web host, and the related posts no longer display (screenshot). How can I troubleshoot/resolve this?

I installed woocommerce and said SKIP when it asked me to install Jetpack, but it still added the plugin!!!

Widget Visibility is not functional in my Elementor widgets panel.
I am using Elementor Pro. The drop-down field for “Show” and “If” both display. However, the last drop-down for “Is” does not display and is not clickable. Also, none of the remaining options work either.

The sharing buttons are no longer showing on my blog posts, could you pls help? I have checked all settings, everything looks as it should. They suddenly stopped showing when I publish posts. I haven’t changed anything but have updated some plugins.

Our site makes use of Post by Email so that volunteers can forward reports to the website and they are auto-posted.
90% of the time, it works flawlessly. However, about 10% of the time, we are getting HTML partial tags included in the Post Title.
For example:
A person emails in a report using Post by Email with a title tag like this:
[title Green Hab Report Jan 04th]
And it comes in like this:
style=”color:black”>Green Hab Report <span> </span>Jan 04<sup>th</sup>
When it should come in like this:
Green Hab Report Jan 04th
We notice most of these come from people using Gmail, but there are plenty of examples of people with Gmail using this correctly and it working. So the problem is intermittent, but consistently so.
