Stats Missing


WordPress Stats showing for wrong site (from JetPack)

I figured out the solution. I needed to log out from the WP.com site and log in with the email associated with the site I wanted the stats for.

I’m using JetPack with a WP.org website. When I go to JetPack stats, it’s showing me stats for the correct site.

However, when I click the Show Me button for “Did you know you can view enhanced stats on WordPress.com?,” it shows me stats for a WP.com website I also own instead of the WP.org website.

How do I fix this?

After connecting Jetpack to facebook and sharing post to Facebook the post is not publicized. Both the connection and the sharing shown as succeeded.

Disabling functionality and not looking back. Clearly it is buggy since changes in Facebook/Jepack.

How to edit login screen

Hi
I’m trying to change the colour of a link on the login page, the one in the notification box when you put in an incorrect password…

Also, is there a way to change log in with WordPress and log in with username and password so log in with wordpress is below username and password and also put a button?

Whilst Jetpack is great, and as a wordpress user, I can quickly login, I find many users aren’t also registered with WordPress and I’m forever answering support requests because people are trying to use the log in details for my site on WordPress without a WordPress account.

Better yet, can I remove the Log in with wordpress button completely from the log in box and place it in a small link in the corner somewhere so admins can use this to log in?

Fatal Error for Anything After Jetpack 7.2.1.1

Hello,

A few weeks back, I started getting the below error message on any of my course pages, but only occurs when a user is logged in.

Furthermore, the formatting of the screen gets all messed up when this error message occurs.

I tried disabling all plugins one-by-one, and I narrowed it down to Jetpack.

If I rolled back Jetpack to 7.2.1.1 or earlier, the error goes away. I was waiting to hope Jetpack 7.4 resolved the issue, but it’s still there, so I rolled it back again.

Any advice?

Version 7.4 makes right column disappear

After updating to 7.4 using Thrive Rise theme, right hand column disappeared. I restored prior version and right column returned. Will wait until bug is fixed before updating again. Thanks


Can’t Set Up Jetpack

Hi!

I’ve been using Jetpack for about a month now, but lately it’s been running extremely slowly, so I disconnected it from WordPress to reconnect and see if it helps (as per a support article I found). However, ever since then I can’t seem to be able to connect it to WordPress. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin, deactivated other plugins, even deactivated my SSL configuration (because I saw a post here that it might be the problem) — nothing seems to work. Can you help?

Publicize still not sharing to Facebook

Hi,

I’m referring to the same issue as a lot of other users, however as I’ve been reading the issue has been fixed for most of them and for my website publicize is still not working correctly, as it has been before. It publishes successfully to Twitter without a problem but not Facebook. I have disconnected the connection with Facebook multiple times but it didn’t make any change. Please advise.

Contact form submission redirects to ID but doesnt submit

I have created a contact form using this plugin. When i click the submit button, it doesnt submit the form. It just redirects to the same page with the form Id e.g. /contact-us/#contact-form-1234

I checked the html form and this is the URL that is used in the forms action tag. Why is this not submitting to the correct URL? I have checked the console and I don’t see any javascript errors. Before or after the form submits.

This started yesterday after I updated it to 7.4 and suddenly I was unable to view the statistics of my blog.

Whenever I try to, this always come up :

Hi,

i would like to find a way to add a before/after image slider to a portfolio project.
Is it possible ? Which plugin can I use to do that ? I tried using “Twenty20 Image Before-After”, but I can’t find how to implement it in a portfolio project.

I am not a developper whatsoever so I’m not confident enough to play with code.

Enable the Jetpack Mobile theme

Hi,

I have in “Theme enhancements” the option “Enable the Jetpack Mobile theme” turned on
with “Show featured images” & “Use excerpts instead of full posts on front page and archive pages”

However this “Enable the Jetpack Mobile theme” seems not to be stable, sometimes it does what it says but many don’t.

I have tried to adjust other plugins that may interfere with this option but haven’t found the solution.

(WordPress 5.2.1)

So, I JUST updated to Jetpack 7.4.1. First, when it came up needing updating, I updated, and it gave me an error that it was already updated, and uninstalled itself.

Um, okay. Weird. Like, it literally disappeared from my site.

I reinstalled it. THEN I realized some widgets were acting weird. Just to find that the widget visibility setting disappeared, meaning ALL widgets were visible on ALL pages/posts.

Fortunately, I found an old post here that addressed the problem. The link in that post to the “hidden” settings page worked.

Um, that post is 2 years old. Can we PLEASE get THAT settings page clearly linked somewhere in the Jetpack settings page? Because I could not find that frigging thing in the Jetpack control panel and thank goodness the old post was there. That should be a BIG button at the top of the page with Dashboard | Settings, or at the very least a menu link up there with Performance | Writing | Traffic, etc. It should have its own CLEARLY labelled and positioned link where we can find it. Thank goodness my Google-fu is strong and I sort of know what I’m doing. I can only imagine what someone would’ve done if they were a new user.

Goodreads ID Problem

I’ve been helping my friend installing her Goodreads by Jetpack widgets but her ID was invalid and when we try fetching the numeric id using author step it still does not match. I have installed the widget with zero problem before using the same instructions, but when I tested using her id using my wordpress the problem still persists but then when I try using my id (the one that work before), the widget said that my ID is invalid. Do you know any more solution for this? Thanks for your time.

Hi,

It’s unclear to me from the following Git issue thread if it’s possible to uncomment line 20 on the jetpack/views/admin/network-settings.php page? I would like to uncomment this code and take advantage of this feature, but when I uncomment it, the network settings page goes blank. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.
