Hello,
the stats pixel used for the stats feature has an ALT attribute of a smile emoticon; this breaks accessibility rules regarding decorative or non-informational images. The stats pixel is read aloud by screen-readers.
In this case, the ALT attribute should be present but empty [alt=””] to conform to accessibility standards.

When I go to schedule the post I am prompted to “refresh connection to LinkedIn,” but when I do that I get an error page: 403 Forbidden. Permission denied. Our sentries tell us you should not be here.
I am the owner of the site, and the LinkedIn page that I am trying to connect to.
Another similar thread suggested to deactivate JetPack and reactivate, but I wanted to get advice on this specific instance. Thanks.

Hi, I noticed that the post edit screen view counter does not contain AMP views (I’m using the latest version of Jetpack). In general, the views are tracked correctly and included in the dashboard. The issue exists only for post edit screen Views. For example, if an article has 200 views on the default URL and 9,800 on AMP, I see 10,000 views in the dashboard. On the post edit screen, I see only 200 views.

Hi there!
A rare situation but: I added a comment to the details page for one of my images, and it is showing the full-sized image, rather than the thumbnail.
This avatar’s image is larger than the image that the page is for, potentially confusing anyone who lands on the page. I tried attributing the comment to someone else, but it was just the same problem with a different avatar image.
In the HTML, this shows up in the code as:
<img alt="" src="http://subversas.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/graf2.png" srcset="http://subversas.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/graf2.png 2x" class="avatar avatar-64 photo sab-custom-avatar">
I am posting this in Jetpack because when I turned off Jetpack and only Jetpack (to troubleshoot) the issue went away, and it showed a generic avatar instead.

Yesterday I tried to update my Jetpack plugin on my self-hosted site from 7.4 to 7.4.1.
All previous updates of Jetpack have worked fine. But this time I get the following message:
“An error occurred while updating Jetpack by WordPress.com: Could not copy file. jetpack/_inc/lib/class.media.php”
I tried several times to load the 7.4.1 update. Another time I got the error message:
“An error occurred while updating Jetpack by WordPress.com: Could not copy file. jetpack/_inc/lib/admin-pages/class.jetpack-settings-page.php”
And another time:
“Update Failed: Could not copy file. jetpack/_inc/lib/admin-pages/class.jetpack-react-page.php”
How do I resolve this updating error?

How do I make the “reply to comment” box appear AFTER the comment (instead of above)? Right now I hit “reply” and no comment box appears. It’s above the original comment, and I can’t see it. For example, I want to reply to the lady’s comment on https://www.echoingjesus.com/christians-grieving-loss-with-hope-faith/ , but when I hit “Reply” the comment box does not appear below the comment itself. It stays above.
How do I fix this, please? There must be a way to make the comment reply box appear when I hit “Reply”!

I tried editing a post with a tiled gallery in the Block Editor. There is simply no Tiled Gallery support or option anywhere. I read the post:

and even installed the recommended plugin in that post and refreshed the editor tab to make sure. But I cannot find any Tied Gallery option under the current block, nor can I find it under the JetPack options if I try to insert a new block.
I use the Genesis Framework with Studio Pro child theme. All the plugins and the core are up to date. I did not try disabling any plugins or switching the theme as editing in the Block Editor is not a high priority issue for me yet. It is conceivable that either JetPack or Gutenberg or both may need a look as well.

Hello, jetpack statistics is a nice addition but he does not understand the links from the very popular forum plugin Asgaros wordpress – always shows only the address of the forum page but not the individual tempers that have other links.
Maybe it’s worth to consider the quality because the forum type is probably the most populous wordpres.

I have been having a problem with the Jetpack plugin while writing or editing my posts. It keeps on saying https://xxxxx.com/wp-content/plugins/jetpack/_inc/build/contact-form/js/tinymce-plugin-form-button.min.js
The page and posts look normal but this message keeps on showing up. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling so it is not working. Any solutions?

I was using the jetpack per post subscriptions filter, but the checkbox seems to have vanished. I’m using wordpress 5.2.2

I have used Jetpack for years without issue, but in the past couple weeks I started being unable to see the Site Stats that Jetpack shows, and am receiving the following error:
“ERROR 502 – BAD GATEWAY
Why am I seeing this page?
The server that your request has reached is acting as a gateway or proxy to fulfil the request made by your client.
Web Browser => Web Front-End => Web Back-End
This server (Web Front-End) received an invalid response from an upstream (Web Back-End) server it accessed to fulfil the request.
In most cases this will not mean that the upstream server is down, but rather that the upstream server and the gateway/proxy do not agree on the protocol for exchanging data.
This problem is most commonly caused when there is a problem with IP communications between the Web Front and Back-Ends. Before you attempt to resolve this problem you should clear your browser cache completely.

Since I always use the same value, I’m trying to change the default settings for shortcodes, like video width, but until now I had no luck. This is my code right now:

I got some problems with comments. I enabled them in Jetpack, so it allows my visitors to write comments using their WP accounts, FB, etc. Unfortunately for some reason comments switch to regular WP comments (automatically and randomly in time). Then I have to go back to Jetpack and enable them again. I must do this because the button which is in regular comments doesnt work and people cannot add comments. I want to keep Jetpack comment enabled all the time.
Do you know what is the reason that they switch off automaticaly?
