Hey guys,
I had a post publish today and it seems Publicize decided to take an image from the post content rather than using the image I had set as the featured image.

I’ve enabled the “Accept image upload” option of JetPack, but the images I add to the slider are not being accelerated, they are displaying an alert by gtmetrix.
In the YSlow option:
> Use the Content Delivery Network (CDN)
Only the images that are added to the pro slider are reported as not optimized by the jetpack cdn.
See I’m talking about creating a slide with only images selected by me. other than a recent posts slide that displays the cover image of the post, the latter is working normally.
How to solve this?

Hello guys I just enabled yesterday the image acceleration for medicalfa but when I check the gtmetrix it gives me as a result the Remove query strings from static resources from 100% to 32% and all the links are https://i0.wp.com/medicalfa.gr/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/SANT42-therapeutikh-kaltsa-rizomhriou-klashII.jpg?resize=400%2C500&ssl=1 is there a solution for this?

OK, please bear with me. I’m working somewhat blind at the moment. The reason for my vagueness is that I’ve never noticed the issue in question, so I don’t really know much about it. It’s a site that I set up for some friends of mine that I monitor and keep up to date, software-wise under my own WP umbrella (Akismet, Jetpack etc.)
I should add that this is a self-hosted site, rather than WordPress.com
The issue started a few weeks back when I deactivated all plugins trying to troubleshoot a conflict. I resolved the issue in question and reactivated all other plugins, but was told later on by my friend that their list of subscribers was missing from the dashboard. All other stats associated with Jetpack were fine and go back to 2010 (or whenever I first set the site up for them). Just the subscribers were gone.
Now the thing is that I believe that their main subscriber list is with Mailchimp anyway, but the subscriber stats and 10 most recent sign-ups appeared in the WP Dashboard. Is this something that actually happens? Can the WP subscribers via Jetpack be linked from Mailchimp in any way? Through an api or other means? All of the info is still there (on Mailchimp) so it’s not an issue with lost subscribers as such – just their apparent disappearance from the WP dashboard. As it’s something I’ve never noticed in the dashboard in the first place it makes it difficult to know how to resolve the issue.
If anyone has any ideas thoughts as to where I can look to resolve this then it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

When embedding posts from https://s-n.no/ to https://www.facebook.com/stjordalsnytt/, the preview and link is not working when pasting in the url. This was no problem before, but now it has stopped working. Using Jetpack 6.9, Wp 4.9.9

I’m using ultimate member plugin, I need to capture the trafic for every page and share to social media but when I see the link the username is not taked.
Example:

The page that is captured by jetpak: https://mypage/user/
So the stadistics are just showing visitors to https://mypage/user/ and bot the single page
please help me.

Is there an easy way to move the social share buttons from the bottom of posts and pages to the top? I use the plugin “Custom Tweaks for Jetpack” by BarryCarlyon for some of my websites, but it hasn’t been updated for some years so I wanted to find another easy way to do this in case this plugin should stop working or get a conflict with some other plugin due to lack of update.

Just tested your new feature “copy post/page”. Is this possible to use on a multisite, where I can copy a post/page from one site to another? It will be in the original language of course, but it will save time anyway and the translation can be done directly in the new post/page.

When I update the Jetpack plugin to the last versión (7.0), the social share buttons in my blog template page, don’t show in the proper case, but if I Access to any post the social share buttos are right.

I hope I’m asking this in the right place, it’s more (I think) to do with managing my sites through WordPress.com than the Jetpack plugin itself.
I’m managing seven self-hosted sites, all connected to WordPress via a free Jetpack account. Yesterday, I used the “Manage Plugins” screen to apply some plugin updates, including updating the Jetpack plugin itself.
That turned out to be a mistake. The Jetpack plugin updates failed, leaving the sites in maintenance mode and some of the the plugin code missing. I had to go into each site, remove the .maintenance file, delete the rest of the Jetpack code and reinstall the plugin. No big deal, I won’t make that mistake again.
But now three of my sites show the orange icon claiming that they need a plugin update. If I select the site and go to its “Manage Plugins” page, it shows no plugins requiring an update (screenshot at https://snag.gy/kpavlj.jpg ). If I go to the site’s own admin, that also shows no updates pending. The *only* place where updates are showing as required are those dratted orange icons.
I’ve tried doing a manual sync from the Jetpack settings, but that doesn’t fix it. What can I do to sort this out?

I have both Jetpack and Yoast SEO installed. I use them for different things; I control my SEO settings through Yoast, whereas I use Jetpack for comments, subscriptions, and other functions. Yesterday, I logged onto WordPress, and it had me update Jetpack to version 7.0. Then, when I went to add a new post, all of the metadata that Yoast typically allows me to customize — slug, snippet, etc. — wasn’t visible. I used WP Rollback to have Jetpack revert to version 6.9, at which point all of Yoast’s options appeared again.
So, is the newest version of Jetpack simply incompatible with Yoast SEO, so that I can’t properly use both? I ran “Debug” on Jetpack 7.0, and the “SEO” module wasn’t clicked (it wasn’t even clickable), so it seems strange that this new version would somehow override Yoast’s metadata capabilities.
Is anyone else having this issue? As Jetpack continues to evolve, I want to make sure that I can continue to use it for subscriptions while still using Yoast for SEO management.

I posted again on the thread yesterday as the problem re-appeared again, but for some reason my post has not bounced that thread up the list, so I’m re-posting.
All the relevant information is in the the original post and I’d like this investigated then resolved/fixed please, either in this new thread or the old one.

Just today I have found the above and this #1437 (loading title) in my site stats for the day. What is this due to?
I do have a problem with post titles loading in my second language, something I need to investigate but I have never seen this stat before.

Hi all,
i have been using jetpack on my site (manahilestate.com) for past many years, and everything is perfectly fine. Recently when i started using mobile theme feature, it showed my normal posts and pages, but not the custom post type (GTRE), which is being used for posting properties.
When you open my custom post type link on mobile, it will simply show the home page, but same link opened on full version will open up fine. My theme is not responsive, so have to use mobile theme.
Can anybody suggest me changes to make as i am not an expert in coding.

Hi,
I ran my site through Pagespeed Insights tool, and under the Mobile tab, it shows that I can save 8-9s by deferring offscreen images. My understanding is that it recommends lazy loading below the fold images
Now, I have enabled Jetpack Site Accelerator and Lazy loading images modules. I think that the lazy loading images module isn’t working for my site. Please help me resolve this issue.
