Wordpess Site Error, FTP (FailT**tP*ss!) fails at this point too, thank god for the all new, wait for it…
RECOVERY MODE!!! Where did that come from, now each and every update that “will” break your site almost guaranteed I can at least Deactivate and bring it back to life without hours of faff and heart break for …
wait for it….
I don’t know what anymore! What am I missing? Anyone going to sell it to me…
It’s become a ritual process of failure and frustration.
At least this time it gave me some kind of report in recovery mode at line:37 ‘ey?!
Don’t wait up, don’t install it and you can sleep easy…
I don’t do updates in the morning, it has a habit of ruining the day…

Where else should I look to see if something is broken? What if anything is broken? I have no idea what to do with this.

I’m running a self-hosted site with Jetpack Carousel enabled. I’d like the page to just have a text link, and when you click this it opens the pop-in carousel of images. I don’t want to show the thumbnails on the page itself. How to I accomplish this?

I’m having problems with the publisize connections in Jetpack. Somehow (most likely my fault) I’ve managed to get Facebook and Twitter comected multiple times to the same account, and this is casuing problems. You can see what I’ve got here (and this is after dissconnecting the only Facebook account that I can find).
How can I dissconnect from the other reaming accounts? There’s nothing in Jetpack, and nothing in my WordPress account settings for this, so I’m pretyt much stuck with this.

Hi,
I’ve noticed right now that in “Authors” section of my website stats I can see myself and an “unknown” author… but all the post of my website has the same (and only) author.
Why it’s happening? Is there a way to fix this issue?
Thanks in advance!

I’m getting this error, there is no W3 CACHE installed. I have deleted cache and problema still persists.
Detalles del error: The Jetpack server could not communicate with your site’s XML-RPC URL. If you have the W3 Total Cache plugin installed, deactivate W3 Total Cache, try to Connect to WordPress.com again, reactivate W3 Total Cache, then clear W3 Total Cache’s cache.

In general, Jetpacks related posts are working very nice on our site. It shows 3 related posts below the sharer line.
The only problem occurs because some of our oldest posts do not have a suitable image or none at all.
If either 1 or 2 of the related posts have an image and the other(s) don’t, the text excerpt of the post without an image is merged and blended with the image(s). You should see it with the link.
How can this be fixed? Maybe we can define a default image which Jetpack will use for all posts without pictures?
Or just fix the text display of course.

Hello,
I’m trying to connect Jetpack but I get the following error message:
Error Details: The Jetpack server could not communicate with your site’s XML-RPC URL. If you have the W3 Total Cache plugin installed, deactivate W3 Total Cache, try to Connect to WordPress.com again, reactivate W3 Total Cache, then clear W3 Total Cache’s cache.
However, I’m not using W3 Total Cache or any other Cache plugins. XMLRPC file is working fine, displaying the expected “XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only”. The only other plugins active at the moment are WooCommerce and Coming Soon page.
Not sure what else to do to connect Jetpack.

Hi,
This is a new site, self-hosted WordPress. I tried disabling security plugins then clearing all cache, but I still get this error….
Error Details: The registration secrets sent by your site do not match the ones the Jetpack server has on record.
Security plugins are currently re-enabled.
Thanks,

Hello,
I am trying to connect a website to Jetpack and I am getting the following error:
” Invalid request, please go back and try again.
Error Code: invalid_request
Error Message: The URL stored by the Jetpack servers does not match your site. Please try disabling the Jetpack plugin, re-enable it, then connect again. ”
Previous to that error I was getting an other error, which I don’t remember (sorry). But after following advices on other threads I now consistently get the same error message.
Steps I took in order to connect:
– tried to install Jetpack manually or through WordPress.com
– disabled/enabled and installed/uninstalled Jetpack several times
– updated WordPress to 5.2.2
– updated PHP to version 7.2.2 (it’s the highest the host is allowing)
– tried to disabled all plugins before connecting Jetpack
– tried to add (it’s not there normally) or remove www to the site address.
I really don’t know what to do to connect Jetpack now.

– I no longer have active websites on this account.
– I wish to remove any websites if there’s any.
– Hoping someone can help me with this.

On this site, we are using the StudioPress AgentPress Pro theme with the AgentPress Listings plugin. One of the features of the plugin is to embed a location map and a related video by placing the relevant iframe code into one of the fields and updating the post. All works until the listing updated once more. By this time, the iframe has been converted to a shortcode and on the listing page, we see the shortcode rather than the map.
If I disable JetPack and go through the same steps nothing breaks. Why is JetPack converting the iframe code to shrotode? How can we prevent this from happening?
Thanks,
Cemal

Installed Jetpack to go with WooCommerce. Clicking on Jetpack in the Admin bar brings up this:

Well, actually clicking on Jetpack brings that up with out the sidebar. I only get that by clicking on ‘Settings’
Can anyone tell me what’s going on here?
