‘Speed up image load times’ makes ad blockers block some images

When I enable ‘Speed up image load times’ in Jetpack some images get suppressed by ad blockers, Ublock and Better for example.
The 2nd image of the collage on https://vervormer.nl/series/maternite/ is suppressed by Ublock Orgin and Better under Safari when I active ‘Speed up image load times’. Without it, it’s being shown. I have now deactivated it in Jetpack.

Tiled mosaic images randomly not working

Recently I noticed some of the images on my site are not loading the thumbnail. Checked my Media library and the image is working there. When adding my images to a Post I always use the tiled mosaic gallery.
The odd thing is that I’m seeing this happen to older posts now (example: see the included link, image below “colors were starting to pop” text doesnt show). This worked when I originally made the Post and I’m not sure when it broke. All other images are still working.
After reading many threads here, I’ve tried using Health Check (images work), disabling add-ons one-by-one (did not fix), and other troubleshooting. It seems most of the time broken images are served from i0.wp.com server and working images are from another Jetpack server (i1, i2).
Only other recent changes are that I added SSL. Created 301 permanent redirect so I don’t think it’s a mixed content issue. Can’t figure out why only some of these are breaking at random.
Any help is much appreciated, it’s starting to drive me crazy. Thanks!

Locked out of site by Jetpack

Hi,
I have been locked out of my website with the following error:
Jetpack has locked your site’s login page.
Oddly, the IP that is blocked is my website Host. When I attempt to gain access via the recovery email, I get the following error:
{“error”:”Bad Request”,”message”:”Invalid input.”}
I attempted to follow the instructions to gain access via wordpress.com as written up here however, all of the options under security are blanked out and I get a box in the corner saying “Something went wrong”.
What do I do to gain access again and stop it happening in the future?

Locked out

Jetpack logged me out. I think they were trying to protect me from certain IP addresses (though they are all linked to Cloudflare which I know about)

Site has been working without a problem. Last successful login: last night.
Tried to log in and got an error:

Put in email address, message arrived and followed it to unlock it. Sent to page with: {“error”:”Bad Request”,”message”:”Invalid input.”}
Tried the usual rebooting, waiting around and trying again, logging on from different user. No luck. Didn’t see anything in the forums that would help.
The computer having the trouble is:
Your Public IPv4 is: 65.96.28.195
Your IPv6 is: Not Detected
Your Local IP is: 10.0.0.27
Location: Barnstable, MA US
I am in a different location on a different computer.

Jetpack update – file permission error?

Our website is running JetPack v5.4. The new version for upgrade is listed as 7.1.1. We have been unable to upgrade JetPack for several months now (hence the much older version). The following is the error message received when trying to upgrade:
An error occurred while updating Jetpack by WordPress.com: The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy some files. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions. wpcom-test-backup/wp-content/mu-plugins/wp-login-protect.php
Being a web novice and relatively new to the admin functions for WordPress, I don’t even see anywhere on the toolbar to view or change file permissions. No one in our organization has ever changed them, so I’m not sure why this error is occurring.

Another Case of Being Locked out By Jetpack

Please don’t say to go through WordPress and follow the pathway My Sites → Settings → Security → Prevent brute force login attacks.
As soon as I select Security, I am confronted with “Looking to manage this site’s security settings? We need you to enable the Manage feature in the Jetpack plugin on your remote site.”
And then when I select “Enable Jetpack Manage,” I’m right back where I started: “Jetpack has locked your site’s login page.”
As with everyone else who seems having trouble with this issue, neither of the two options in the E-mail I am sent headed “Unlock your site” seem to function.
I have never tried to delete Jetpack via my cPanel, but perhaps that’s all that is left.

Jetpack vs Gutenberg

Caros, venho percebendo alguns problemas de compatibilidade entre o Gutenberg e o Jetpack. O principal deles é quando mando publicar ou atualizar um post ou página o botão só fica com a mensagem de “processando” e não sai dessa mensagem, geralmente tenho que fechar a guia do navegador e verificar se a atualização ou publicação foi realizada, eventualmente nem publicada é. Outro problema é no que tange a pré-visualização dos posts ou páginas que não carrega de jeito nenhum. Quando desabilito o jetpack tudo funciona normalzinho sem nenhum engasgo, mas é só habilitar de novo que os problemas voltam. Gostaria de saber se podem me ajudar com isso. Agradeço.

I’ve noticed on a number of WordPress sites that images are not loading. On checking, these are all images hosted on i2.wp.com (which it appears images are being hosted on by default, if you don’t check into it).

wp login locked by Jetpack, wrong IP

Hello,
I can’t login to my WP site (it’s an wordpress.org blog, self-hosted) because I get notification that my IP is blocked by Jetpack. However, the IP that is mentioned is not actually mine (108.167.172.195, registered in San Jose, US). My IP address is 192.168.1.59 in Portugal.
I’ve read other answers. I’ve logged in to WordPress.com but I can’t find the button My sites because I don’t have any sites there. It just says – ”create new site” and ”you don’t have any sites created yet”. So I can’t edit any settings there and whitelist my IP.
I’m not good with coding and I don’t dare to touch the php. file. Could you please let me know what to do?

Conditional tag for related posts not working

Hi. I’m trying to use a conditional tag but it is not working.
I added a tag ‘n-relacionar’ to the posts I do not want to display the related posts from jetpack, and also added this code to my functions.php
function jetpackme_no_related_posts( $options ) {
if ( has_tag( 'n-relacionar' ) ) {
$options['enabled'] = false;
}
return $options;
}But it’s still showing the jetpack related posts. Does anyone know why this code isn’t working?

MailChimp Pop up not working

Hi! I have relentlessly tried to find a solution to the reason as to why the pop up is not showing. I have put the code into my header and tried the jetpack plugin. When I first uploaded the pop up via the Jetpack mailchimp pop up widget, it worked. Now, I can’t get it to show up anywhere after I have cleared my browser and cookies. Please help me out and let me know if there is a resolution to this issue. Also it would be a great help if someone could bring up my website on their browser to see if it comes up. Jetpack has locked my site’s login page

Hello,
I just tried to login to the back end of my website and it appears that Jetpack has locked me out citing, “Your IP address 172.68.65.197 has been flagged for potential security violations. You can unlock your login by sending yourself a special link via email.” I tried to unlock it via the email link that was sent and that isn’t working either (have tried a number of browsers as well). The IP it is listing is based in San Francisco while I’m based out of the Washington, D.C. area.
Any help resolving this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hello. Does Jetpack have a tool that can combine all HTTP requests into one request, similar to CloudFlare’s Rocket Loader? Barring that, do you have a tool that combines CSS/JS files into one, so the page makes fewer HTTP requests?
