On all three of my websites, I get prompts to update Jetpack over and over. On one site, I got an error message, but was able to deactivate Jetpack and then reactivate it But on my other two sites? On AllLivesAreSAcred.com, I was able to connect Jetpack, but the site keeps loading after a repeated update. And on MissingAdultsKIds.com, I get this message after I try to connect to Jetpack (after a repeat update):

Invalid request, please go back and try again.
Error Code: invalid_client
Error Message: Unknown client_id.

Facebook Page Plugin (Jetpack)

Disable SEO module upon installation of Yoast, AIO SEO, & others.

When the SEO module is active on a Jetpack site, it should be auto-disabled when another major SEO plugin package is installed and activated, to prevent conflicts.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Install Jetpack, activate, and activate the SEO module.
2. Install Yoast, All In One SEO, or another major SEO plugin, and activate.
3. Jetpack’s SEO remains active.

Both sets of SEO metadata will be populated into the site.

Jetpack Sharing Buttons do not show in posts

None of the sharing buttons are seen neither on my Aspire Pro theme, nor on Twenty Seventeen.

Jetpack support at https://jetpack.com/support/sharing/ does not show that I am doing anything wrong.

But still: What is the reason for a problem?

Am I connected or not?

I just created a new WP blog and installed Jetpack, connected to WordPress.com, and all was working fine. I then had to delete the blog (reasons unrelated to Jetpack). I started again, installed WP, installed Jetpack and went to connect to the same WordPress.com account. But Jetpack is still asking me to connect to WordPress.com – when I click on the button it says “Connected to hansasblog” but in my admin it keeps telling me to connect. Can I disconnect and reconnect?

give access to modules list on the dashboard

I propose to bring back access to the modules list of jetpack at the very least in developmental mode .
on the latest release of jetpack ive noticed that access to the block list of modules available in plugin are kept from hidden from public viewing. (in short there is no hyperlink that directs to it) see image link see image here. im not sure if that is the case for everyone but in local installs with JETPACK_DEV_DEBUG on that is the case and nope you there is not hyperlink that directs to that page in the debug page of jetpack

this is on a live server (visible link to modules list on live server )
this is on a dev server on debug mode and local server

#just for those who need to access their module list this is the url
wp-admin/admin.php?page=jetpack_modules

Hi,

Let’s say i have a company wordpress blog that’s hosted on a subdomain/subfolder with jetpack installed. Stats gathering is working fine, and i’m thinking of using jeetpack stat to track traffic from the same domain (but different subdomain/subfolder). Is this something that can be done already? Appreciate your help.

David

I use WordPress 4.7.3 and woocommerce 2.6.14. I found a bug on Booster. When I set some checkbox on [Products Addons] from Booster. The currency are not updated as setting. Such as I set a checkbox “Paper package” for 5.99 USD. When buyer use other currencies, they are 5.99 GBP, 5.99 CNY, 5.99 JPY. The addon price doesn’t change according to the exchange rate. It shows the same as a mumber. Is there anybody else found this?

Bring back the All Modules page

Hey, guys!

Can you, please, consider adding back a link to the all modules page somewhere on the Settings page?
With the new interface, people can’t disable some modules unless they know how to access that page directly!
I’m talking about this page: /wp-admin/admin.php?page=jetpack_modules

Sitemap is not working

Hi,

Today I noticed that the sitemap on my website is not working. I entered 2 new posts, but there is still just a warning message.

No sitemap found. Maybe it’s being generated. Please try again later.

There is no other plugin activated that generates a sitemap. Also I have no idea if the problem started after upgrading JetPack to version 4.8.2. Btw, News Sitemap has no issues, it works as intended.

Thanks in advance.

When I try to connect to Jetpack it simply reports that it has connected successfully but when I return to my dashboard I still get the Connect to Jetpack button as if connection failed. And I don’t get any stats. I looked at the debug link at the bottom and found this. Can anyone help me fix it:

Publicise not publishing consistently

Hi

We’re using Jetpack Publicise to schedule articles and share them on Facebook out of office hours.

It’s been working fine, but I’ve been told by our site’s editor that no scheduled posts have posted for the last 4 days. Nothing has changed, and he’s been doing everything the same, but the scheduler has not worked.

Our site is hosted on WPEngine, don’t know if that makes a difference.

Thanks for any help.

I got on my contact page and was dismayed that all I saw was code from the form. From the front end of my page. I went into my settings and I was not able to figure out what this issue can be. I had to give out an email address. Why no contact form now? I see no option to add them to my pages.

Hi All,

On the latest version of Jetpack & WordPress.

All of a sudden, the related posts have disappeared from each post.

I’ve so far run the debug mode and nothing has popped up for being untoward.

I’ve also switched my theme back to Twenty Seventeen, and disabled a plugin that could have been affecting it. I’m speaking with my client to see if anything else has happened, but what else could be affecting it?

It has previously been working fine.

Cheers!

Rhys

White screen after updating plugin

White screen of death for me too. WordPress is updated. I updated Jetpack and my website stopped loading at all. I had no idea this was an issue for other users until I found the support forums, so I tried everything I could think of until I manually deleted Jetpack. I had been manually deleting all plugins as I couldn’t think of Jetpack being the problem.

Once I deleted Jetpack, the website was back to working fine again, but I use a few of its features so I went to the plugin installation tab, saw that Jetpack had received an update a couple days before so I thought “oh, great, they must have solved whatever issue there was”, so I installed the latest version and and, oh hey, white screen of death agagin.

http://retrosumus.com

I’m using Sydney (child) theme, bbpress and a few more plugins. The website is running (almost) fine now as Jetpack as been deleted. Please let me know what the problem is 🙁

Thank you,

Carlos

Jetpack not functioning and unable to reinstall

My blog is at blog.mycoquebec.org
Since two or three days, I do not see the extension Jetpack anymore on my dashboard. I lost subscription menu and the stat on https://wordpress.com/stats/day/blog.mycoquebec.org are not showing or counting anymore and seems unable to communicate to my blog (a red line appears saying in french something like “Error when trying to get extensions on the blog Mycoquebec”.
I tryed to install Jetpack again and it says that the destination file is already there.

Any solutions that will not destroy my cumulative stat (since 2 years) and my list of subscripters?

Hello mates, need Your help! Now i am trying to develop my personal site offline, using wordpress 4.7.3 and desktop server. Now i’m creating gallery page and for that purpose downloaded JetPack plugin using Shapely theme.

But when i click on plugin settings “connect to wordpress.org” i get an error:

Error Details: The Jetpack server could not communicate with your site’s XML-RPC URL. Please check to make sure http://www.zdstudio.dev/xmlrpc.php is working properly. It should show ‘XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.’ on a line by itself when viewed in a browser and should not have any blank lines or extra output anywhere. Find out how to fix this issue here: https://jetpack.com/support/getting-started-with-jetpack/what-do-these-error-messages-mean/blank-lines-xmlrpc/

Tried already to reinstall wordpress in the frontend setting menu, tried to delete and reinstall plugin, tried to switch to the basic twentrysixteen theme – nothing helps.
Need your advice guys!
