Ok, I understand the problem. She can hide the WordPress.com site from her list by going here:

https://krystalcooks.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs

and logging in with her WordPress.com account. Then, she can change the visibility of the site by following the instructions here:

http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#my-blogs-dashboard-visibility

This will remove the site from the list, but the site itself will still exist and be associated with her account, in case she ever wants to use it again or access it's content. Later, she can make it visible again by reversing the steps. :)
