connormckelvey on "[Plugin: Jetpack by WordPress.com] Switched Hosts and Lost Jetpack Subscribers"

Hello,

I was transferring my cousin's blog (semi-rad.com) to a new server. To prevent downtime I set up a copy on my server (semirad.connormckelvey.com). He set out a post on semi-rad.com on the other day and all of his subscribers got an email using the incorrect url (semirad.connormckelvey.com) I figured this was because of some unique ID from my version overriding his version of the blog.

Today I transferred his DNS over to my host and got the new and Improved site running on his original domain (semi-rad.com). When I went to test out the subscription function, I still got an email with the incorrect blog name (it came in as semirad.connormckelvey.com). I did some googling and found some post that suggests disconnecting Wordpress.com from jetpack and reconnecting it.

When I did that I found there were no longer any subscribers to the blog. There were over 500 subscribers so I really inconvenienced my cousin. Is there anyway to get these subscribers back?

This is a pretty high profile blog. 20,000+ visitors per day. I would really appreciate your help.

Thanks.
