We've added an option to add the Publicize UI to the Custom Post Type editor, but posts won't actually get publicized yet. We still need to work on synchronizing these posts with WordPress.com to push them to Social Networks.
I don't have an ETA for that feature yet, but I'll posts again here as soon as I have some news!
