woodbangers on "[Plugin: Jetpack by WordPress.com] stat difference?"

Hey got jetpack installed, and working smooth after disabling most of the extras. It is running quite nice and thanks for the help. Is there a stat issue? The jetpack stats say 8 visits today. Google Analytics Dashboard says 18,567 today. Google Adsense says 18,567 today, and Google Analytics website says same as dashboard. I also have a security plugin in my site which monitors live traffic with same amount of hits as google analytics and so on. What stats is jetpack ready from? Is this a glitch or is Jetpack only reading stats of the wordpress tide to the site? Thanks in advance.
