Would someone from the jetpack team see to it that a future version of the jetpack carousel module has the option of disabling pic comments in the carousel? Including all those Ajax calls for pic comments that mostly don't exist. Just want to be able to config the carousel to show the pics of the gallery, their text captions (if they exist), and next/previous buttons to move through the gallery. All the js and css hacks to accomplish comment removal is a mess! Pic comments should be a carousel option preference. Please keep the carousel displaying nicely for desktop, tablet, and smartphone responsiveness too.
