but i'll be damned there sure arent any wp-admin folders in there i dunno where i dreamed that up from.
Also, simply uploading via ftp resolved this issue entirely. I almost went this direction first but wanted to try the new interfaces yall included in the program. I am very stoked to use jetpack, thanks for the support.
